Explore the Original Towpath

During the early canal days, mule-drawn packet boats were guided down the canal along narrow towpaths. Many of the original towpaths have been transformed into Canalway Trail segments that extend over 365 miles. The scenic and historic Canalway Trails are perfect for walking, biking and hiking.
