Cycle The Erie Canal 2024

Stop on by Canal Street on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 to celebrate the annual Cycle the Erie Canal Bike Tour! Over 700 cyclists participate in this event and make their way from Buffalo though Lockport on the Erie Canalway Trail on their way to Albany, New York. Cyclists cover 40 to 60 miles each day over the course of eight days!

Community members can stop by to watch and cheer on these cyclists during their journey! The best time to view bicyclists is 9am to 11am. Enjoy music during the event with food and drinks available to purchase. Lockport Main Street will assist those who stop by providing bike repairs, a water station, a resting tent, and other assistance.
