Trail Clues: Family Scavenger Hunt

Trail Clues-Family Scavenger Hunt is a FREE fun activity, provided by Barge Canal Optimist Club on Saturday, July 6th from 10am to 1pm starting at the Barge Canal Optimist Club tent at the Lockport Community Farmers Market.

This is a self-paced activity offered as a fun activity for families with children ages 2-12 years old. Everyone can participate at their own ability level.

Upon check in at the Barge Canal Optimist Club tent, each child will receive their own score sheet. Trail clues will be posted along the canal path and throughout Upson Park, near & East of the Fight of Five. Each Trail Clue post has questions presented in three ability levels, to provide appropriate challenge for each child.

Clues will be found, posted along the path and in the park. Trail Clues check in/registration will close at 1:00, so there is time to complete the scavenger hunt and return to BCOC tent so your child can check their answers to the scavenger hunt questions and receive a participation prize.

In the event of inclement weather- trail Clues will be rain or shine, canceled if thunder and lightning. Advance registration will guarantee score sheets at your child's age level.
